What this tool does

Merging PDFs joins several documents into one file in order: every page is carried over as-is, never re-encoded or rasterized, so text stays selectable and searchable.

Everything happens in your browser. Files are never uploaded, and the merged result is ready to download immediately.

Two small habits save time: rename files with numeric prefixes and use file-name sorting so a careless drag cannot scramble the order, and after merging check that the page count equals the sum of the parts, then spot-check the last page of the first document and the first page of the second. If one document has wrong page orientation, rotate or extract it first — fixing it before merging beats redoing the merge.

How to use

  1. Drop two or more PDFs Multi-select is supported, up to 50MB per file. The order is the drop order, or switch to sorting by file name.
  2. Choose the merge order Use drop order when you already know the sequence; use file-name sorting for numbered batches such as scans.
  3. Download the merged file You will see a size comparison when it finishes. Open the file to confirm page count and order before sending or archiving.

FAQ

Will my PDFs be recompressed?

No. Merging only moves page objects; images and fonts are untouched. Use the compress tool afterwards if you need a smaller file.

How is the page order decided?

By default the drop order is used. Switching to file-name order sorts alphabetically and numerically, which suits numbered files.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

No. If any file is protected the whole job is rejected; this tool never cracks passwords. Remove the protection first.

How many files can I merge?

There is no fixed count limit, but each file must be under 50MB and the total is bounded by your browser tab memory. Merge very large batches in groups.

Are my files uploaded?

No. All processing stays in your browser; check your devtools network panel to confirm no upload requests are made.

Can I mix scans and text PDFs?

Yes. Documents with different page sizes can be merged; each page keeps its own size and is never stretched.

Limits

Up to 50MB per file; at least two files are required.

No decryption, no separator pages or bookmarks, and no recompression of content.
